Chirnells Cottage, located in the heart of the Coquetdale Valley, on the edge
of the National Park, offers every creature comfort for a warm, welcoming stay

and combined with the splendid views of the surrounding countryside, has visitors
feeling refreshed and revitalized within a few days.

room with views of the Simonside Hills, an electric log-effect fire, colour TV,
video, hi-fi, selection of videos, CDs, books and games, a cosy dining alcove
and telephone. The kitchen is newly equipped with ceramic hob, microwave oven,
and looks out over neighbouring farms and fields, with the Cheviots and Simonside
Hills providing a dramatic backdrop.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one a spacious double
room with very comfortable double bed, and window seats with
views over the hills. The second bedroom is a single room.
On the ground floor there is a newly fitted bathroom with bath,
shower and WC, as well as a separate WC off the entrance hall.
A separate utility room houses the automatic washing machine/dryer,
where there is also space for drying walking/cycling gear. A
charming, enclosed sunny garden has a lawn, sunroom, and garden
furniture, as well as barbeque equipment. Parking space for
two cars is off-road, next to the cottage.
Heating is included in the price. All linen and towels are provided,
