Garden Cottage, Rothbury, is in the Alnwick District of Northumberland.
It is ideally located as a base for exploring the Northumberland National Park,
the Cheviot and Simonside Hills. The impressive National Trust house and gardens
of Cragside are just across the valley and Wallington Hall is only 15 miles away.
The spectacular, award winning beaches of the Northumberland coastline, with its
castles and nature reserves, are within easy reach, as is Alnwick with its famous
castle and gardens. Edinburgh and Newcastle are only a little further away. There
is so much to explore!
Garden Cottage has all you want for a comfortable and relaxing
holiday. Once part of a Victorian school on the outskirts of the
beautiful village of Rothbury, the Cottage, with its exposed beams
and old pine doors, is now fully double glazed and centrally heated.
The lounge has a TV, video and DVD facilities, stereo CD player
and direct dial telephone, along with a selection of videos, CDs,
books and games for you to enjoy. The kitchen/dining room is spacious
and well equipped with new appliances. . .everything you need and
probably more. The newly fitted bathroom has a new suite with shower/mixer-taps
over the bath and a shaver point by the wash basin. There are two
bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds.
All rooms are on the ground floor and at the same level as the enclosed
garden. There is plenty of off-road parking next to the Cottage.
All towels, tea towels and bed linen are provided and the beds
will be made up for your arrival. We regret we do not accept smokers or
pets at the cottage. A warm welcome awaits. |
